Located in Wisconsin's Paper Valley, Gilbert (now part of Neenah Paper) specialises in premium cotton and wood-free letterheading, text and cover papers. They make the beautifully textured Gilbert Oxford for us as well as the the whitest of translucent papers in smooth, ribbed or Oxford textured surfaces, which are popular for use in contemporary-styled corporate stationary and literature.

Esleeck, unfortunately, has recently closed
Esleeck was a small New England mill that was firmly rooted in the tradition of producing the very finest of cotton containing stationary papers. Esleek were perhaps the only mill in the world producing a true onion skin writing, but to show that they don't let tradition hold them back they produced Blue Jean Bond, made entirely from recycled denim!

In 1988 we set up Peter Gilbert Papers on the edge of the Cotswolds, 80 miles west of London. Primarily, we sold fine papers to publishers of high quality books, art catalogues and educational texts.
